Talon cylinder boring

Does anyone know if the talon cylinders can be bored without splitting the cases and disassembling the transmission?

You could possible hone them, but even then the oil squirter are close. You'd never bore them without disassembly

Why? They have to be done from the top down.

It would be too risky. Too much potential to get debris in the engine/trans plus just being able to mount it to be bored.

All the removed material has to go somewhere. These engines are very picky about oil being clean, especially thr transmission side.
