Out on what we thought would be an uneventful 4-5 hour ride with friends in the mountains above Valle Escondido near the Angel Fire, NM area when our friends suffered a tire failure on their 2-up Arctic Cat ATV (2" stick punctured through the tread). No amount of sealant and air was going to fix this, so our only option was to tow it back down.
Attached a tow line, fashioned a perch on the back of the Talon for one of the riders and pulled them back to the cabin - 22 miles through rocky, sometimes muddy terrain! Altitude varied from 10,000+ to 9000ft. 3 hours later we were home. Incredibly, the flat tire stayed on the rim all the way. The Talon never missed a beat.
