While greasing my rear wheel bearings on my 2019 1000R, and looking for the cause of the "play" in my driver Rear wheel (when compared to Passenger side), I noticed I had a fair amount of movement in both the Universal Joint that attaches trailing arm to frame, and the bushing that connects the upper (front "A arm") stabilizer arm to the knuckle.

I can see, and order, the parts in the U-joint.

But can't find the Bushing in the knuckle. Does anyone know if that Bushing is part of the knuckle or can be replaced?

Is that Bushing at the knuckle OK and will stop moving once the u-joint is fixed ?

This bearing:

According to the on line parts list this is part of the knuckle and not available separately.
However, it seams to be the same as the rear shock lower bearing.
(Like the shock bushing it is held in with a wire ring on one side)

Thanks for the detailed response, seems strange that Honda wouldn't show that knuckle bushing ( bearing) as a separate part. I'm wondering if it will take a special tool to remove and install it.

Are you sure the play isn't the radius rod bushings?

If they have play with the wheels.off the ground it's normal, new units will have the same play.
Not seeing play in the radius rods with wheels off ground. The Universal Joint and the bushing/bearing at the upper stabilizer a-arm move up to 1/4" with hand force.

The upper front (bushing) it's called a Ball Joint is available from Black Opps Machine. Heavy Duty Honda Talon Upper Ball Joint - Black Ops Machine they also have the lowers available.
Scott, not sure if we're looking at the same things.

I went to the link you provided and see that this site will be very useful.

From what I see on that page, it seems that these parts are the ball joint for the front knuckle ( or maybe the one at the bottom of the rear knuckle) . The bushing/ bearing I am trying to find is at the top front of the rear knuckle where the "a-arm" stabilizer attaches ( not any of the 3 the radius rods that attach to the knuckle or the big ball joint that connects the trailing arm to the knuckle)

I was looking at it on my phone and didn't get all otf the details in the pic. Now that I see it on the computer my info was ment for the front a-arm not the rear upper support. FK has some metric uniballs that might be an option with the fabricating of some spacers. The right way (in my opinion) would have been Honda making the top of the knuckle to accept a 3/4" heim joint to support that but their way is cheaper. Does anyone know what the ID is, of the knuckle hole that the bushing goes into? That would be a starting point for a solution.
