P1000 Under seat fan with Evap

I was hoping to see if anybody had done a delete/relocate for the Evap canister. I probably could squeeze a bilge fan in there but not a 7" or 8" radiator fan like I hoped.

Nope, we work around it. Just get a bilge fan install it like the pic above a d be done with it. Its been proven for a long time on here.
Also, if your wanting to rid heat, get the Quick shield. Takes care of most of it added with the bilge fan, its the perfect combo.

Agree with the above. Quick shield is good enough for most riding temps. The bilge fan gets loud at low speeds and I only use if its really hot, which is 9 mo out the year in Florida.

Im taking it you didnt have a quick shield on your 20’?
They hold up very well. They only go to $hit if you take a scissor to it. If your thinking about getting one? Your overthinking it. Just do it! You'll be glad you did like everyone else.

Thank you. Correct, my 20 did not. 4300 miles on it before she ended and heat never bothered me. 24 has 83 miles and the heat is noticeable. I will order these up. Thanks again for the advice.

No problem. Youll be happy. If u need to rid more heat if the shield isnt enough, do a bilge fan mod as well under the seat. I also have that.

I deleted the Evap first. Not very nice pictures, but I think you can see the fan off to the side.

The OP is long gone and I have no idea how he got a Kalifornia model in Alabama.

Honda offers dealers California model in every state, usually at cheaper invoice or when models are hard to come by

That was one of the things I found people recommending to watch out for when you see a "cheaper" deal from the non CA dealers.
