Windrock Trip(Need Tips)

I’m going to Windrock this weekend. Staying near Petros near trail 26/27. What are the must see things I need to hit. We’ll ride Friday evening, all day Saturday, and Sunday morning. Can you ride in town at Petros or Oliver Springs. Good places to eat on the trail?

Can't help you with that, I'm not too savvy with directions up there, but I don't think there are numbered trails for the prison or train. I think the train is closed/blocked off at the moment.....

If you're staying in Petros, you're really close to the prison. You can still access the train from the windrock side. I think the trail is G7. You access that trail from the big loop trail that takes you all the way around the windmills. I'm not sure of any of the trail numbers though.

Brushy mountain grill is pretty good also. It's not far from the prison.

22 yes! I love 16, just did it a couple weeks ago. 21, now your just being mean 🤣 😇 🤣

We had a great time. We didn’t hit any of the black trails but hit most of the other trails around the General store. Rode 22 both directions. You definitely want to stay over by the general store area. Trails from Petros area were real rocky and rough. We are making it an annual trip to Tennessee and I think we will stick with Royal Blue area. Thanks for the tips. Tennessee is a beautiful state.
