Today was 75, it was rather warm. I can expect it would be difficult on warmer days. How was the underseat heat issues. Did it get uncomfortably warm?

These pictures are great! What an incredible place to ride. I love the area I live in, near the ocean and lots of forest area but I think it would be awesome to ride these areas. Thanks for sharing.
Day 3, Full day riding/hiking. 1st day w/o any problems
Drove all day in I-4wd in Hi&Low. I do not have experience with Honda lockers, but with many others. My take is lack of front axle "feedback/binding" under load. It justs goes where you point it. I have years of experience off road with built Jeeps.
Heat under seat. The thin rubber "heat shield" is not much change from last year. Still noticeable heat in the cabin area, especially above 10mph. Wife and kids were happy with that earlier today when it was cool.
For those of you who have not rode Moab, do it. It spoils you. We come 3 times a year, heck we love it so much, we got married here!
End of day, 75 total miles on the machine. Did not back down from any obstacle that I would have done the same in a built Jeep!

No, by ourselves. I have not see any other Honda Pioneers at all. Just one Big Red. I have seen a few hundred RZRs. You can hear then coming long before you see'em!Aren't we all...
I wonder how much Honda Locker experience he has to compare the i4wd against?
@Scb888 Are you riding with other P1ks?

Moses @ Brick City Fab built the cooler, spare tire, rotopax rack. I found him on this forum!Welcome to the club Scb888. Love the new machines with Red A-arms.
Where did you get your sweet cooler/tire rack at?
Great pics! Definitely a beautiful place. Glad to see you're enjoying your pioneer. Welcome to the club!

@elkguide Its time for you to get an avatar... and (for my sake) it better not be a picture of a camo pioneer in the snow...Keep those pictures coming.
Hiked through Moab many times but have never ridden there. MUST DO!!!!
Thank you. Moab sounds like a blast. I have a uncle that lives in Fruita CO.Moses @ Brick City Fab built the cooler, spare tire, rotopax rack. I found him on this forum!

This is all good news!Another day on the trails. Rolled over 100 miles total on the unit today. Time for an oil change. Challenged the machine a bit more today. Steep inclines and declines, did great! I-4WD makes the rock ledges effortless. Felt it kick in a bit today as I was pushing thru deep sand at 15mph. Since I was slipping it was trying to keep me from doing so.
Hill Assist actually comes in handy. Used it mutiple times today.
Also tried the shocks in all settings. The soft setting makes steering less precise and you feel less in control at speed. The firm setting really brings the control back on steering, but was hard on my passengers. I will be using it at home when I go out to play by myself! The middle setting soaks up the bumps, and gives good steering control. Still the smoothest riding machine I have ever had on this terrain.

Not sure on the hours, but plan on changing the oil this weekend. I will let you know. Pulled it off the trailer when we got home and have not had any time to play or work on it. The last two days in Moab got cold and rainy. Kids and wife made me go out in the Xterra the last two days. Rained all the way home and has the last 5 days in MO too. This is all good news!
I have 100 miles on mine (deluxe) tonight, as well.
I changed oil at 94 miles (last night).
Then @JTW told me that the first oil change is better at 20 hours, regardless of the miles...
I think I'd have to agree. I checked mine today. 10.5 hrs. My oil was Super clean. And the filters, too.
My deluxe doesn't sound any different than it did yesterday. Supposedly, the whine and hard clunks of the transmission soften after the oil change at 20 hours.
So how many hours does yours have?
How did it do after a few more days? Are you happy with the purchase?
