You should make a trip to Savannah, GA some time. Talk about old Southern charm. Nowhere I'd ever live but down south lol
Charleston SC is where it is for history and old beauty. I love living 40 miles from there just to crowded for living but beautiful to visit.

Put me down for some directions. I'm definitely going soon.

I can show you where we parked the trailers but it's in AL. It may be a longer ride to there. I have been there and had to find a place to park among 20 other vehicles and sometimes there's none. One day I went up there and I was the only one parked at the entrance. When I got on the trails, there were 100's of other ATVs/SXSs. I don't know where everyone comes in at? One day I'm going to pack some fuel and ride all day and find the end.

Finally got around to editing the last bit of video. I'll post the next two as they are available from YouTube so anyone close can check out the trails.

Crappy reception in this part of the plant but I'll check it out after work. I'm at least gonna scout out the parking area this coming week. May go find it in the car. I'm just above that in Winchester so it isn't far.

Second Bull Run ride. 3-15-2016

@Delton and I met for a ride. We cover about 40 miles which included hills, mud, deep water, fast trails, slow technical rocky trails, and some nice high elevation over looks. Our elevation change was 4500' and we averaged about 7 mph.

I want to also mention that Delton is a great guy, easy to get along and very handy to have around. He tends to prepare like me. He had fuel, chainsaw, a toolbox, etc. it was a pleasure to have him ride along.

We both took a few pics and video so I'll start posting the few that I have.

Here's a little overlook with southern TN below us. Mounteagle can be seen to the right and we think the large structure in the pic is the Nissan plant.

Here's a creek side stop for a snack. I think I stopped too much, Delton reminded me that "he can stand around at home, let's ride". I love that adventurous attitude.

Here's a funny pic, I guess most have heard that Delton loves mud.

Another thought, here's a pic of a rear tire from @Hondasxs's P700. Is this how the Big Horns do in mud?

That was an awesome ride! Anyone within 3 or 4 hours driving distance that hasn't ridden this is missing out big time. What killed me was my stomping grounds and his are actually the same. I drove for lil over an hour to get there but is only minutes apart as the crow flies (or Pioneer crawls) lol. Glad we finally got to meet. Joey is super nice guy and his rig is awesome. He had me going over and through obstacles that would've turned me around if I was alone. Best day I've had in a long time. I'll post some pics later as I'm on the road at the moment. I got a great vid of him navigating some really nasty rocks.

I'd like to see that video when you get a chance to post it. I'm considering doing a lift like either one of yours and some bigger tires when I get a rig.

Didn't realize I had said "Owwww" out loud at the start. He had just came down hard on a rock with the skid plate. The uhwm plate is no joke. Tough stuff.

I should mention that both Hondas performed flawlessly. I had a constant squeaking from the CATVOS spherical rod ends but I hope to replace those soon with a Teflon lubed version soon.

We encountered all types of terrain and even had a chance to run them over 60mph. I still wish it had lower gears and less engine heat but mechanically, it performed perfect.

Delton and I made an observation, we noticed that our pioneers seem to shift very firm and the shifts are fairly loud. This doesn't bother me, I think it may be the result of a good shifting transmission with great line pressure. The clutches still hook up strong and will spin 30 inch tires with ease. I am curious to know if those that have had clutch problems have quiet shifting transmissions.

Here is a vid of same mudhole I got buried in yesterday. Couldn't believe how much difference a few rain showers make. It looked the same on the surface lol
