P700 Homemade llighted whip

I figured why not try to make a lighted whip myself.
1/2" clear pvc a 1/4" fiberglass dowel a 1/2" sch80 cap a1/2" sch80 tee and a 16 foot roll of 144 p.m leds.
30 minutes and all I have left is the mount to make.

So, watt’s the importance of a whip in the first place? Not a requirement in Texas.

They for me are just fun really.
And as a bonus you can be seen very clear to the rear if the taillights are muddy or for some reason not working.
Besides Mrs. Glock wanted and liked them along with Mrs. Glock Jr. Lol
