P700 Need a rifle rack!

All those open racks are great until you spend a week on dusty gravel roads. We spend a week in South Dakota chasing pdogs every year. After a couple of days your rifle would be a useless mess.

Yeah I know what you mean. I keep my overhead guns in gun socks/sleeves for that very reason.

By how clean yours looks a guy would think you don't do dirt trails or you polish it. Haha.

That pic is from when the Pioneer was new. The gun rack was a very early addition. Hahaha I wish it still looked that clean!

I agree. You'd need the top of line enclosed case with a lot of padding if your on a big hunt. I look at some but I need it more for coyotes on the farm and need to get to it quick so I have to go with the open rack. I do think I'm going to look at those barrel caps you can shoot of to help keep dust out.

My guns would come in and out and it would be used mostly for around the property, so being exposed isn't a problem.

I need a find a rifle rack that will fit a carbine on the bars. Any good ideas that have worked?

Had a little encounter with a tweeker on the property where I dropped their s*** off down on the public road with the cops help, they love the Kel-Tec...LOL

Trying to stay away from anything obtrusive in the seats. I do like to overhead idea.

I finished my install. About $20. Got one for the tractor too.

Forgot, made the metal piece from some scrap in the garage and some bolts with lock nuts.
