P700 New battery issue. Help!

Yes I have a 2016 Honda Pioneer 1000-5 D dead battery causing my electrical power steering light to stay on and affecting the shifting of my transmission. Could a bad battery be the cause?

Low battery voltage can cause all sorts of issues on these units.

Yep! Just played with an 18 similar to yours. Jumped it to get it running. No power steering or clutches. After idling 5 minutes, it had enough reserve in the junk battery to let the clutches engage. But power steering was disabled. A new yuasa battery and everything is back to normal.
