Mine is in 30-06, it's my favorite. Bought it brand new the year lil 906UP was born.

I've got one in 30-06 also. The first real hunting rifle my dad gave me. But I think it has a forearm cap in the tip of the stock? Is that still a BDL or ?
It will "keell'..

SPS is like an ADL but with a floorplate and I believe a synthetic stock (SPS = Special Purpose Synthetic) Some SPS do have a laminated stock
XCR is the eXtreme Conditions Rifle

I don't hunt anymore but still shoot! If I was still hunting from a Blind or Box stand, My Ruger RPR in .308 would be a very good Killing Machine for a Long ways shot!
