I had so many nice guns.... including a 700 BDL in 7mm mag, left handed. Plus about a half dozen 760's in .270, 30-06, and 308. I still cry myself to sleep when I think about the tragic boating accident that claimed them all.

Ok, this thread peeked my memory for this gun.
I haven't had it in my hands for 20 + years.
There was a time nothing got away I took aim.
Best of all it made me remember great times with my long past Dad and brothers.
Thats a beautiful rifle. I see you have a red field on it also. I have a wide view red field on my 300 posted above it dates back to 1965. Great history behind the older model 700s if only they could tell there stories

Shouldn't every man's BDL be in .30-06? Do they make it in another caliber? :p Here's mine.

BDL 1

It's one of a few Remington 700's I own, but to me the classic look and lines of the BDL with the hooded sight is what a Remington looks like going back to my youth. :) This one has a Bushnell Banner with an early illuminated sight... I usually change out all my optics to Leupold and probably will eventually change this one, but I think it looks kind of cool.
