Final shots of the days work..Padding on the front portion of the cage is just for "test fit" purposes. Still up in the air on the wind screen. Several options out there with mixed reviews on each. I'll have to give that "a think" before I pull the trigger.

There is good news from the holiday.. The Mrs liked her Leupold 3x9x40 and Stihl chainsaw (can I pick a gift or what?) so well that she insisted I order five (5) new Sedona "tars" for the P5...Well, who am I to argue with that logic??:cool::cool::cool:

Looking good CR. The super pliable is a commodity of the HVAC world, good/expensive product.

Changing tactics for the remaining rear dust shield and the Moose rack. I used a rigid closed cell foam for the horizontal braces. For the remainder I used a softer more pliable closed cell foam that bends easily to the contours of the cage. >15$ for two pieces.

The soft closed cell foam you used is the same thing you can see on the high pressure line going from the AC condenser into your house. Extremely durable in the sun and all weather. The standard pipe insulation you used, not so much. But it's cheap and easily replaced as long as it's just zip tied on.

Added the "Standard" under the roof, should be good for a a couple or three seasons. It's out of the direct sunlight and weather. Used the EPDM in any "semi-exposed" location. Im out >25$, three Coronnas and a bag of zip ties..:)

Key Features - EPDM Rubber / UV Resistant, Moisture resistant.

Yep, I'd say you're good to go on that!

^^^Uncanny!!!

I do think it was the Stihl chainsaw that put me in her good graces...I mean what woman doesn't want a new chainsaw for Christmas??

However, I am somewhat concerned by the "Taser" her father gave her. I've taken to sleeping with one eye open.

Um, my little squaw wouldn't be a jocular little squaw if she pulled a chainsaw from under the tree. However, she'd be quite requited with the taser.

New items for the P500.

Kolpin mirrors and an overhead Honda organizer. One banana job, total of fifteen (15) minutes to install both items.

Rear application.
I did likewise. If it hangs too low for your liking, as it did for me, I'm happy to share with you what I did as an alternative to hanging it from the cage bar.
