Had Nerf bars on the machine I sold{ kept them}, so I cut them down and mounted them onto my pioneer. I figured that I may as well add in the under floor protector's as well. I used a piece of salvaged Alum. for the protector. There's enough room to easily wash out any mud etc; .I mounted them to the frame with a piece of angle iron that's bolted to the frame.I removed the plastic frame caps and had no problem putting a nut inside the frame to hold the mounts on.

That looks good. Do you think it is strong enough to act as a skid plate, kinda/sorta? I would be pounding it on rocks and such.
I do see a need, as I already got stuck on a tree stump in that area and had to winch off.

Here's a pic of them underneath. There made from 1" x 100 wall square tubing,so they'll take a hit and stand up.But like anything else it depends on how hard you hit on something.

Can you send some better pics of these ? I'm trying to figure out the best way to mount a group31 battery under the drivers seat.

Took some pics for you hope this is what your wanting to see. Took some looking down from under the seat and there is lots of room for a battery in there. When I get a chance I was hoping to put some sort of storage in that area.
