Has any one tried to modify the kidney killer safety bars on their 700's
I'm trying to figure out how to make it easier to enter and get out of the Pioneer 700 without having to bend your body around those kidney buster safety bars.
Any ideas?

Ya know...when they changed them from the early models, my thoughts were that they looked like pain waiting to happen. After spending nearly 3000 miles with it, I don't even notice them, and never really have.

Short of hacking them off, you could find an early model mid cage and bolt it on.

I'm with @DG Rider . Originally I thought what a pain and how to remove etc, but that only lasted for about 100 miles and now about 3500 miles later the only time I notice them is when someone new gets in the passenger side and they make mention.

That being said, I've seen them cut down and capped off and they looked fine.

I use my unit mainly for hunting and land maintenance and constantly get in and out of the machine. I cut mine off, ground down any sharp edges, touched up the paint and it made a world of difference. Plus my Honda soft doors now close much better.

I have the 2016 model. They were shorter and much less intrusive. No one has ever complained about them.

Maybe you can cut yours off, shorten them and weld them back on.

That looks really good. I’ve been thinking about cutting them off. Jumping on and off all day - sometimes you catch a kidney 🤣
