P1000 1000-6 UHMW Skid Plates

Anyone know of any 1/2" UHMW Skid plates for the 1000-6? I was hoping Factory UTV would have theirs out by now.

SSS has their 3/8" ones, but I've seen too many issues with them. I'm really wanting true 1/2" UHMW, with as few pieces as possible. I went ahead and emailed Factory UTV and I'm just waiting on a response now.

Nope. Haven't seen that from anyone yet.

Have you tried Trail Armor? With the extra wheelbase 1/2" would work better because of the extra load.

I have, they don't have any yet either. Think in going to be SOL for the time being.

Must be nice! The trails I ride around Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia are brutal on the skid plates. My factory ones look like crap after just 2 rides.

It doesn't take much for the factory G-string to be useless. No one 'cept for maybe Honda considers that a skid plate 🙄

I did, but I didn't like that it was not pure UHMW. I didn't want to mess with a blend of material.

If it helps any, if u have a change of hart. Ive had them on my 2 rigs for some time and one has been beat up good and holding well. The other one is just starting to get that treatment and so far so good.
Also @SATV backs there $hit up and he will take care of you if u have any problems.

Appreciate that! If they had fewer pieces with less snag points, I probably would have went that route. I'm sure they are all pretty similar.

Anything beats the Honda g string!
