I'm looking for information on total width, front and rear, of my Pioneer 500 , if I install 12" x 7 wheels with 4 + 3 offset on all four corners with 26 x 9 x 12 Bighorn 2 on the front, and 26 x 11 x 12 on rear? I can't decide whether to get a 5+2 or 4+3 offset wheels. Will 4+3 wheels cause bearings failure or suspension troubles.

I put 4+3's on mine with 27" Terrabites, improved the ride tremendously!!! I've had them on for 600 miles so I can't speak to extra wear & tear but these rigs are built like tanks, I have no worries. I can get you measurements this wkd if you can wait. I'm away from my rig for the week.

4+3's should put you at 55" in front and 55 3/4" in rear. I'm running the same tires on 5+2's, 53" in front.

906UP your rig looks great, when you get a chance let me know what your measurements are. Have you noticed any power change with the 27" tires? How's the stability with 27" and 4+3? The reason I'm asking is I live in SW Montana and do most of my riding between 5500 ft. To about 9000 ft. i ride from pavement to gravel roads to dirt trails, to lots trails full of lose 4" to 12" boulders.

Trigger do you notice any power difference from stock tires and how is the stability with you 26" tires with 5+2 set up? I ride a lot of uneven ground?

I think the 26's with 5+2's are an awesome set up. A lot more stable than stock or with 1" spacers. Take off the ABS and you'll actually start feeling a little articulation out of the limited suspension. No power loss here, I went with the BH 2.0's, they've never stopped turning for me. Check out the Blackwater EVO's or BH originals though, same tread pattern but beefier tires.

No loss of power for the most part, the Terra 27's are closer to 26.5" actual. The rig seemed really over geared right from the start so I ordered tires when it had under 100 miles. I have noticed that it doesn't hit the rev limiter in 5th gear quite as quickly but my actual ground speed is higher so it's a wash. I disconnected the swaybar at the same time I put the tires on. On some of the forest roads/gravel roads where I ride I can take corners wide open in 5th with confidence, machine stays stable....not sure I'd do that with the stock wheels & offset.
