What kind of bed cover are you running?
I had a MX4 bakflip on my 150, but as it got waterlogged, it was heavier and heavier to fold.
I am leaning toward a hard roll up this time around.
Buy a topper, a ton more storage and it blocks the wind towing a sxs and you'll get better mpg .

Yea any lift in the front you really should do the track bar. I hate puck lifts. If i ever was to lift or level at the front end I would do front springs. The nice thing about the PMF is that they have a little tapper to the blocks. When I did my f150 I had to add 2deg to remedy a slight vibration at 75. Some trucks need some dont.
I waited almost a year to buy shocks and Icon never came out with a 2.5" shock kit with Gas springs, I ordered Falcon shocks and they had it within a month. GRRRRRR

I have a retrax aluminum cover. It's cool, it's way to expensive and it doesnt seal particularly well but it was on the truck. The Backflip MX4 is nice with the option to store vertical. Pretty sure backflip has a wood/composite or an aluminum version. The wood like one from ford with the neoprene cover sucks, the harder aluminum one is real nice

My mx4 was from BAK, not Ford. And it got heavy as it aged. At 6 years old, it was a struggle to fold up the first 2 panels from the side. I usually ended up in the box folding the panels. With the super duty en route, and the plan to fifth wheel and/or goose neck tow, I wanted to try the hard roll up. I didn't like driving with the mx4 folded against the cab.
But there isn't a ton of options for an 8ft hard roll up. I thought about soft, but prefer the security of hard. I usually keep a couple packouts of tools, first aid kit etc in the back.

If you want to walk on it and you want to tow a goose neck, the non powered retrax is pretty hard to beat. The power slide is excessive. If you order a retrax they also have to option of a rack rail. I wish I had that for a platform rack above my bed because inevitably we haul too much stuff

That’s what I’ve got on my AT-4. I like it.

Instead of raising front you lower the back. Usually by using smaller or eliminating rear blocks. If your not going lift truck its just another option. I did it on my last truck. On the 250 you really need to add adjustable track bar with any lift up front to do it right. The tires on the truck now are 34's and I will probably never go bigger than 35.

By lowering the back you get away from all of the geometry changes in the front. Add air bags on the rear for towing keeps it level and helps with ride when towing heavy. We put on the Airlift 5000 w/ the onboard air compressor and air tank so we can fill tires and have train horns.

All of that and some people like a lower stance. Some of us also want it to be easier to get in and out of the truck bed:):)
