Am I wasting my money going to 25 inch tires. We do a lot of slow driving through rocky woods.Looking at bighorns on factory rims.
I know I ask a lot of questions but, that is how we learn and I want to get it right because tires cost a lot of money. On the 26 inch I have seen remarks about front rim coverage? Also, regular bighorns or 2.0.We do a lot of steep rocky trails in 1st or 2nd gear here in Missouri. Thanks for hearing me out guys.Agreed - Im running 26" bighorn (really a knock off but 99% the same) and there is no power loss and they work great! The added ground clearance also really helps the P500
Interesting. They look good.I will try to find weight and actual height comparisons.Thanks.I know you looking at big horns but i think you should also look at the ITP black water evolution tires. But yea i also think 26"..

Wow.What a testimony.
Driving myself crazy trying to figure out what tires to put on using factory rims.I have added weight with the roof winch windshield strongmade bumper and cargo rack.A little concerned about dogging it down with 26inch original bighorns. Just not interested in the 2.0 bighorns.
I don't have a P500 yet but I have Bighorn 2.0's on my Rincon. When and if I do get a P500 one of the first things I will do is put BH 2.0's on it. Either 25 or 26 inchers. I literally ride at Rock City and they are one tough tire. Lighter weight is a good thing. Zero punctures, good rim protection, nice ride and good traction in all conditions from snow to mud to rocks.Driving myself crazy trying to figure out what tires to put on using factory rims.I have added weight with the roof winch windshield strongmade bumper and cargo rack.A little concerned about dogging it down with 26inch original bighorns. After over analysing tire info I ordered bighorn originals 25inch bighorns. I realize that they run big for their size.We will see what happens.I don't have a P500 yet but I have Bighorn 2.0's on my Rincon. Also using stock rims is the best idea. Not sure about the P500 but most aftermarket rims have different offsets than the stock Honda wheels. If you change offsets you are changing steering geometry. You can defeat the easy light steering engineered into it with the wrong wheel offset.
Yes sirkeep up updated moose I was stuck between those and the ripsaws it will be interesting to see how they match up on the same ride
