4wd light flashes between 4wd and 2wd

i have a 2021 pioneer 1000-5 when going down a snow covered hill on a dirt road it is in 4wd when going about 15 or 20 mph the 4wd light will start flashing between 4wd and 2wd and sometimes it bangs like its going in or out of 4wd if I stop and go again it works fine. On the level or going up hill it works great. just wondering if anyone may have an idea what causes it.

Take a look at the cable adjustment on the back of the front diff. That’s where the actual 4x4 engagement happens. It sounds like maybe it’s not fully engaging.

Take a look at the cable adjustment on the back of the front diff. That’s where the actual 4x4 engagement happens. It sounds like maybe it’s not fully engaging.
