I finally test drove the 700-4 a couple days ago. I am going to buy the 2014 I had mentioned in another thread. I have a couple questions for you who already own one.

The acceleration seemed a bit slow but I do understand this is a utility vehicle and not a sport. It, to me compares to a friends John Deere Gator i n that regard. Would you agree?

Also when I let off the throttle at around 30+ I felt a slight clunk, but not too bad. Anyone experience that?

It has 33 hours on it so it has hardly any time on it.

Thanks in advance

I'm not sure about the clunk sound. I guess that could be anything?

As for the acceleration, it is slow. However, it will work all day long on a ranch and pull trailers, haul loads, etc. It is also great for family outings as long as you're not trying to follow sport SXSs in a wide open terrain.

Thanks. I want it more for hunting and working around the property so I am sure this is the ideal rig for me. I will use it for some trails for just rooting around as well.

Clunk is probably from the rear end as they are noisy.

LOVE mine! I used it for every hunt this past season, pulled a 18' trailer with 2 box stands and a heavy set of iron stairs (took 6 people to unload it from the trailer) up and down the hills on our lease to set the stands out, used it for Halloween to pull a 16' trailer with about 15 people on it and 3 in the Pioneer. I even pulled 2 Jeeps out on our lease!!! lol

Are you going to be pulling wheelies...probably not. However some easy mods will give you better throttle and faster take off. You won't bet sport sxs's down the straight aways, however you'll pass them in the twisties with a few mods.
