P500 Advantages of Phantom Cam

Honda has priced the Phantom Camo at a $500 premium. What are the benefits of the Camo vs other colors? I know in the shot gun world that guns are dipped and sealed/protected from elements like salt water, reducing rust and extending usability. Are there any special benefits with the phantom camo?

No benefit to cover plastic. I own one.But does score plenty of cool points.

No benefits, besides being able to hide. Or, you could coordinate with your outfit & shotgun. Ha!

IF you use the wrong pressure washer and chemicals the film dip come off and you then have a TAN Pioneer, so you would be ready for the next desert country invasion.

I am getting ready to buy a 2019 Pioneer 500 in Phantom Camo. Have heard talk that the Honda camo has a peeling problem. Anybody had problems with the new Phantom Camo? Some posts I have seen were older units not the newer ones. Will the Honda warranty correct the problem if you have one? Thanks for the help!

I’ll second that, red is the fastest. I wouldn’t worry much about if it’s camo or not, score the best deal you can and then drive the wheels off of it. You can always add a camo wrap later if you wanted to.

Actually the camo ones are the fastest out there , you just didn't see us when we passed you because camo blends in so well.

Lol, I like your thinking, it’s a little biased but I like it.

The newer camo (P700 and any unit made after) is alot more resistant to peeling then the old stuff was.

They warranty my 2013 420 Rancher.Started peeling not more then a 3 month later.don't pressure wash so close i guess..
I have the 2017 P5 Camo will let you know if it peels hasn't yet,it's a New leftover go figure why it was still on the lot but got it for a fair price...
