So I decided it was time to change things up
Bought it in 2016 Then it started sucking my pockets clean
Full cab kit, wiper, heater, front bumper, winch, light bars, stereo, lift kit, 30” tires and rims, tracks.
I ran that set up for 4 years then decided I need some upgrades, then I heard the vacuum start.

Decided I didn’t like seats, heater steaming my butt and cooking passenger. So I went about looking for better options. If you don’t like what’s out there build it became the way. So it began
Install new seats
A different heater
Gun holder
Intercom with 2way radio

Seats can be removed and put back to stock in about an hour as nothing was cut other than plastic by butt. I did 3 panels so just center can be removed for maintenance

Heater is crap Takes awhile to produce heat, not very hot, traveling thru 14’ of plastic ducting. Snow dust from tracks gets in(even with snow filter) creates steam an frost windshield I just got clear. Any water crossing more than 24” deep fills tubes with water and your pumping moisture into cab till you get home and drain all the tubes. My idea is in cab, no tubes 4 vents 1 for each side 2 blowing up. If you get into water heater drains in self, might get moisture for a bit but not rest of trip. Initial test in shop after purging system showed heater core 52° To 99° in 5 min of idle and air movement is at least twice as good as Honda setup

Now on to switches and we decided to go with a rugged radio headset intercom for driver/passenger for hands free talking and a Portable vhf/uhf radio that is wired into box and uses a push to talk for driver/passenger to talk to other vehicles. Intercom is also Bluphone for phone calls and music. Heater was put on a variable motor switch instead of low/off/high

Now onto a snorkel kit for a full cab with doors and rear panel. a lot of nice units out there but they either have half doors with snorkel going thru pass cup holder and up rollbar, thru hood or up the back with no sliding window panel in play then maybe might attempt a full1/4” 60x72 uhmw skidplate. I’ve had a couple close calls with sticks

Worked on snorkel today. Seeing as I have a full cab with the back panel and doors I needEd to come up with something different and after looking for the last few weeks this is what I came up with. because of space constraints I decided to go with two 1-1/2“ intakes then into a 2” T then to factory air box. I will be putting tracks on soon and I know there will be an issue with snow dust on back glass so leaving that part unfinished for different setups. Also figured as I needed to drop to 1-1/2 I should run 2 so flow
