I got almost all my ideas from here and I've enjoyed working on this thing. Learned so much.
I really hated the tipping feeling so maybe went overboard with the 3" spacers all around. I got what I wanted, doesn't feel tippy at all now but I'm at 58"at the front!
Raceline wheels (5-2 or 2-5...I learned it all and forgot as soon as wheels were on) and ripsaw tires. Like someone said here going with 11" wide tires in front as well wasn't a problem for the steering. I was expecting the extra friction to force me to look at power steering which I feel now I don't need.
Small round button on left is a momentary switch for horn, the one on the right is a latching one for the rock lights (these two buttons unfortunately not symmetrically spaced by accident).
I came across the base 500 at the Cottage Show here in Toronto a few weeks ago and was shocked at how my 500 used to look.
I still got some fender extenders to install...and have an open mind to additional accessories!
