Welcome - I'm sure you know that your motor and dual clutch transmission is basically the Africa Twin adapted to a SxS. Was that your primary reason to go with the P1000?

Welcome from WV. You don’t have to wd40 your chain but you should get an extra belt and tote it around in case it’s needed
