Put my M1 Evils on on some new rims. Handles and rides a lot better.

Just so we know it happened! ITP 29” tires and 14” rims 9” wide on front and 11” wide on back. No rubbing whatsoever so far. Haven’t taken it out on the trails, but it handles sharp turns on the road without a problem. Just got it cleaned up today!View attachment 249558

After putting the tires on the rims tonight, because the rear rims are narrower than stock, the rear tires are just a bit taller than the front. Which is still opposite from what the stock wheel were. (Front taller than the rear). This still should be fine to run?
As stated, diameter matters. But when you’re looking at lowering air pressure to even things out, you’d be better off looking at circumference of the tire then divide by 3.1416 to get a true diameter.

How are the tires/wheels working out. . You may have saved me alot of money. I have 28x10x14 rock a billy tires and 14" wheels i purchased a few months ago. Rubbing at full pretty bad enough to want to rip plastic fender liner. What is the offset on the wheels and are you running any wheel spacers? Do you have a lift. I have a 3" lift. Looking forward to response on rubbing at full. Thanks

Also, are the tires the diff widths or are the wheels diff widths or both?

I have 28-10-14 M-1 Evils 8 ply all the way around @10 PSI
I don’t have any offset and I’m not running any spacers and I have no rubbing or any issues. I have put it through it’s paces and when I have some wear all just rotate them.

The wheels have to have some type of offset.

I never rotate, last thing I want is worn tires on the steering axels, I can put up with it for a little on the back, a very easy way to wear front and back fairly even is to run in 4 WD on trails?
