Anybody been to Silverton CO area this summer?

Why are they discharging in the fall, seems like they would do that in early summer from all the spring rains?

They discharge year round to maintain the Summersville Lake water level but they do additional discharges during "Gauley Season" for whitewater rafting purposes.

Rode Silverton surrounding trails last week. Weather was awesome, trails can be dusty. Only pass not open is Poughkeepsie, it likely will not be open this year. Don't ride the Alpine Loop on a weekend, to busy! Had a great time! My buddy in his General was suffering from heat and discomfort some but I was cool and comfortable!
