Installed everything as per this video
with the only exception is that from the solenoid I don't have a switch, but straight ground to the fuse block. What happens is that I start and I get every to light up for 2 seconds and that is it. Do I require a switch to the solenoid instead of ground, the solenoid as per video has the acc wire connected. Thanks!

Solenoid is a Stinger SGP38 top terminals are power from breaker and to the fuse block, small terminals are tapped ACC wire and ground...thanks!

Interesting if I start and keep the key pushed to the right all the lights stay on it's after I let the key go back to it's "rest" position the lights go off (engine still running).

That looks right.

Need to confirm....
You have the key on... Right?
The ACC wire is the correct wire? should be white wire with black stripe coming off the 15A Acc fuse. If this is the one you used?

If yes and yes... Then IDK.

Need to rule out a solenoid problem. Run the trigger wire to the battery and see if it stays on.

Or test light the acc wire to make sure it has power when key is in the REST.

Sounds like you have tapped the wrong wire. You can check by using a temporary switch to run the solenoid. Just wire one up loosely using battery power Instad of acc. wire and see if the problems persist. Then use a test light on the acc wire like hondasxs said.

Ya, another member tapped the wrong wire with another project.
Ensure it is the one for the 15A ACC fuse off the main fuse block. There are several other white wires under there. This one will have TWO white with black stripes coming out the output side of the fuse. I'll post a picture.

You can see several other wire wires in this bunch. This one will have TWO wires coming out the same port.

Tapped on of the black/white cables of the 15A ACC, but will do the suggested tests.....thanks!!!
Did the test with the connecting the tapped ACC wire directly to the light and exact same thing...so solenoid has been ruled out, see picture that seems to be the right cable

yes, unless you keep the key pushed to the right and that time the light stays on...
The light is a tiny USB one plugged in through Mictuning USB charger, however my turn signal kit did the same flashed as well

The key has 3 spots. OFF, ON, and START.
If the key is in the ON it should have power to this wire.
When going to the START it may loose power for a few seconds and regain it once running and back to the rest ON position.

ON would be what I stated as rest it's where the key settles after you start the machine, the odd thing is that I don't lose the light in start (which I refer to as all the way right) it's the only place where the light stays on consistently....obviously while hearing the starter as well.

Ok... Sorry to bring it so basic, sometimes you just need to make sure.
Lets not burn up our starter. lol.

I guess the next thing is to do some more wire probes.
Pull the 15A acc fuse and put a test light to the fuse plug. Should have KEY ON power on one side.

This side is a black red strip wire. It runs to the ign key.
If you find this to be the same then you have a issue with the IGN key switch.

Yeah ;) So pulled the fuse and same thing still happens...so that would mean it's the wrong wires...but the right color??
