Did Lower and Upper Terminator north of Phoenix yesterday. Have previously driven lower terminator multiple times, but always heard that upper was for Jeeps on 37's+ and buggies. A buddy and I figured we would try it and just turn around if it got too difficult. Upper Terminator turned out to be one of the best trails I have done in 2022!
There are several very difficult obstacles that did NOT have a bypass. Recent rains and wet sand also made the granite slippery There were also some buggy lines but all were optional. One of the best obstacles was a 300ft long rock garden where tire placement for every foot was important. Another good obstacle was a large squeeze between two granite walls where too much wheelbase can hurt, followed by a slippery off-camber granite climb.
Overall, was a great trail that I will do again, again and again. Pics to follow soon!
