P1000 Bed swapped 3 to 5 rear clearance issues and a few other questions

Someone with more knowledge will post soon but my immediate memory feels like those are too skinny to be proper 1000-5 rear shocks.
Yeah especially after looking at them front to rear and especially seeing my old ones. Idk what I was thinking when I installed them 🤦‍♂️ I knew they where a lot skinnier but I guess I thought the spring rate was different

Finally figured it out they sold me a rear shock off a 3 base model saying it was a 5

Finally got around to solving my problem. First off the dealer from eBay didn’t do anything for me. I finally got the rough country m1 and holy cow what a difference. I didn’t realize how bad it really was until I saw the new ones on. I’m only probably 1/4 of the way adjusted, I’m only restricted by the height of my garage but I’ll be turning them up more later

You should try to aim for about 3” of droop. If you raise it thru preload too much your ride and articulation will suffer
