JTW shot me this lead awhile back and I went for it. Best thing I have done to the old girl yet.
I went along those lines with the Pitbulls instead. Once those wear out, I may go with the berserkers. How does the machine handle the added tire weight?

This is the mud I deal with (first is early season, second is late season)…….. How would berzerkers do in this? I am thinking blackwaters may be more appropriate. Thoughts?

Looks pretty thick and sloppy for berserkers. I’d take my Pitbulls in it though.

All my off-road experience has been on motorcycles. This is my first 4-wheeler so I have nothing to compare anything to. I do know in the deep sand they do great, on a hard road they are awesome, other than that I have no clue, I'm sure I'll find out.

I also have the 28x10x12 Berserkers the tire weight has not been an issue. In really tuff stuff, I am in low anyway. To me, the negative of the weight is out weighted by the added durability of the tire. Been running 8psi in heavy rocks with narry a problem.

If this is what u ride in most of the time ,then get a true mudder tire. All these other tires I see posted are no better than what ur running.Bighorns are good tires in the 6 ,8 ply ratings. They get a bad rap in the 4 ply rating that come stock w the pioneer. In ur picture u can see the right front tire has cleared the mud perfectly !

Just picked up a set of 28" blackwaters on 12" rims. Getting them mounted tomorrow.
Not sure if I will regret it, but went with 4+3 rims. I don't think the added width will be an issue... just have to be careful and maybe some more trail widening!
Thanks for the advice.View attachment 196085
I had a set of ITP Black Waters, never had a flat, think you will really like them! Next set is a set of ITP Terra Hooks, haven't put many miles on them yet. But ITP builds a good tire and made in the USA.

The Black Waters I had had threw less mud on my buggy than the previous tires, they tend to clean out quickly and throw it out at a lower angle?

Nice! Good to know cause I'm interested in them once my stocks need replacing. But I meant because of the 4+3 offset and maybe spacers to compensate @ rear. Might get a bit dirty 🤷‍♂️

I run a 6 + 1 front and a 5 + 2 rear offset in the wheel, no spacer. I end up with stock width, I ride in the tight woods and don't want any extra width, don't run a lift because of that and other reasons. I do run the Super atv a arms and different shocks than stock.

Most of my riding is a bit of both tight/open but I'd like to go a bit wider just for stability. And I'm supposed to be buying a front/rear set of the SATV A-arms from ohanacreek @ the CANCELED TO! So I'll need to get them from him some other way 🤷‍♂️
Shocks are on my list as well but one thing at a time 😞

Hi.
I used ATV Tires Canada, www.revco.ca. Rims are Traxion x3, which is Canadian. Look well made... will post pic once mounted. I couldn’t find any affordable 5+2 options in stock.

Ride is a 69 Volvo 1800s. Fun, simple little car. 2L 4cyl. I need a bigger garage!

So far so good with the 28” evo on 12” rims. Noticeable improvement in ride quality with more sidewall compared to stock tires on deluxe 14” rims. Did great in soft mud and water yesterday! Didnt get as dirty as we thought with the 4+3 rims either. Happy! I am sure I will still want shocks but have to pace myself. Cheers
