Based on those of you who have experienced a blown tire, what do you recommend to use when changing a tire. I run ITP,
Baja 28x14s, bottle Jack, scissors Jack?
Thanks

The best way is to use a hi-lift jack.
I have some pictures somewhere.

But.. there are drawbacks to it.
- Its hard to store.
- You need a custom mount.
- Its heavy compared to a bottle or scissors jack.
- Its dangerous if your new to it.

So, I guess it will be user preference.
I have chosen Hi-Lift. But I have yet to build a mount. Just keep it in the bed on long trips.

Thanks, I will look at a high lift, it obviously needs to have a special lift hook to hang under the ROPS. Also a base plate would be needed for sand and or mud.

I carry a bottle of tire slime and compressor. Kinda makes a mess when you wanna actually change to a new tire. But I ride stock rims so I don't mind. And the slime works fine. Had slime in all 4 of my tires on my kfx700 by the time I sold it and it did 70mph with out a wiggle.

Obviously I'm not anticipating a sidewall tare.
