Does anybody carry loopers or tree trimmers?

Most carry a small electric chain saw.

I prefer to bring my dewalt sawzall with a 12” blade and a battery…which can be shared with a small impact tool kit I already bring as well.

I also carry a DeWalt sawzall and air pump, both 20v. It looks like the sawzall has a much higher capacity than the lopper and fits in my TSC storage box. I can probably drive through anything the lopper could handle.

I sometimes carry a brushless 18v ryobi that I think has a 14" bar. I always have a 13" hand saw

The only picture I have is post #48 without the saw.

Another vote for the DeWalt sawzall.

It is a very good folding saw and cuts well.

Ok, I try not to be the internet police but Photography 101 says - Composition - if the subject is horizontal, hold the camera horizontally. TVs are horizontal, computer monitors are horizontal, YouTube's format is horizontal, our windshields are horizontal, the horizon is horizontal, and our eyes are horizontal. Most photos are better horizontally. Don't hate me, Bro.

I carry this saw with me. It takes up little space and is surprisingly effective at cutting downed branches and trees.
I’ve used it several times and was glad I had it with me.

You make a great point, and I agree with you. Unfortunately society lives off Snapchat, and tiktok, along with other "new" media outlets where the world is vertical (including youtube shorts)

I like to think of it as the big heads keeping children narrow minded by keeping there focus away from the peripheral.

:p

An old machete has done everything I need for decades. Anything to big for the machete, I either go around, over or back to the barn for the tractor.

For $225+, I would hope so!

I must admit, I was a little worried what I'd find when I Googled "Silky Katana Boy 500" ... 🤣

I have a small Echo cs400 with a mild muff mod that works extremely well. I run Truefuel 40:1 and it starts and runs like a champ. Not too big/Not too small and much lighter than my old McCullough Promac 610. I do see a batt. operated chainsaw in my future though.
