Big Red oil filter change, how much oil do you use.

Here is some info on changing the oil and filter in the Big Red MUV. This is from the service manual.

Oil Filter - Part #15412-KEA-003
Oil type - Pro Honda GN4 4-stroke oil SAE 10w30/10w-40, for cold areas 5w-30 for colder areas 0w-30

Oil Capacity:
Drain - 2.9 US qt's. (2.7 liters)
Drain/Filter change - 3.1 US qt's. (2.9 liters)
Dis-assembly - 4.3 US qt's. (4.1 liters)

When to change the oil and filter:
Honda's service manual states the the Big Red Engine oil should be changed at the following intervals.
Initial (first service) - 100 miles or 20 hours or first 30 days.
Regular service - 600 miles or 100 hours or every 12 months

I read somewhere the engine oil in a Big Red MUV 700 is triple filtered because it is also functioning as the transmission oil. Is there more than just the one filter on the right front side of the engine?

only has the one filter in front same as the rincon and pioneer

I use 3 quarts and 3 ounces, which is approx 3.1 qt. If you look at the oil bottle it's easy to see 3 ounces on the little marks.
