Any thing with a motor is becoming really scarce these days...,it really doesn’t matter what it is.

The plants are shut down / limited capacity....even used cars are bonkers now.

Talked to a friend last night who has 5 used car dealerships and a Ford dealership. He said used car prices at auction are 20-25% over typical wholesale and this is the worst time to buy a used vehicle in over 10 years.

The boat story is same as in AR from dealer where I bought a pontoon last year.....big showroom had one bass fishing boat this year instead of the normal 6, 5 wake boats and 5 or so pontoons, along with all their Can-am rides......crazy....and their incoming for next several months are all sold!! Go figure, huh??

Same issue with RV's, we are looking at a new one and there is a limited selection on the lots.

RV Lots fairly full on I-75 at Ga/TN state line. Acres of lot at Camping World and a few others. I always wonder how they afford $$$ in inventory, especially the Bus RVs.

I stumbled across something like this yesterday (in Benton, AR) by the way. I'm about to buy a new SxS and went looking for new trailer ideas, stopped by the Big Tex dealer. Generally it's trailers as far as you can see, but they have no production right now either. Slim pickings....

They afford it just like auto dealers. The manufacturer carries a debt and dealer must settle within 3 days of unit being marked sold.

Now establish dealers that dont need the credit can get an additional 15% off thier costs via holdback adjusted quarterly meaning they may wait 3 months to realize full profit on a unit sold.

I think you will save a lot of money on your new pontoon if you wait until this shortage is over. I was talking with a guy tonight that said he was looking at a $60,000 pontoon. Say what? They must have the prices really marked up.

No joke!

I just bought a used 2007 Ford Ranger 4x4 to use as a DD. It has 110k miles and I paid upper book on it for AS/IS ( recent trade, and they hadn’t ran it in their shop yet) and I still have to do some work to it.

The repair parts are currently cheap, but even I noticed on Rockauto that supplies are evaporating very fast on late model vehicle parts...and prices are rising!

I might be wrong but I’m pretty sure it’s Ray’s Sport and Marine. I made the drive up there to buy my Pioneer from Ray’s Sport and Cycle down the toad from it.

I didn’t mind it, wasn’t as plush as our Bennington. But mama didn’t like it and you know what that means. It was the ride in rough waters.

Going for a Barletta this time around with at least a 200 hp. The Bennington was a 115 hp......
