I finally finished my build with a chainsaw mount on the back tube. This should work great.

Nice... Should! Little high for me though but seems to be the really only good solution.
Was also thinking about mounting similar behind the passenger headrest. Maybe at a angle.

Thanks for sharing.

I agree that it is higher than I would like but it kinda only fit there. This is a 20 inch saw, my buddy has a smaller saw that shouldn't stick up as high.

Great idea. What did you use for the material to make that?

I bought the material at TAP Plastics. Unsure of the name, they recommended it for this application. The pieces were is 3/8" thick, the actual dimensions of the mount are 6 3/8" wide by 22" long

That is a good idea, except like @Hondasxs said its a little high for me also, but the sheath for the bar is great. I always carry a saw and I've been trying to figure out a way to get it out of the bed but I need to keep it out of the way of low hanging trees and out of harms way.

I may see what I can do to lower it if is a problem for me. I have a storage rack that fits on top of my rear roll cage that should protect the saw.

Material I used was good old plastic cutting boards from a restaurant supply.

Your 20" saw may not fit like my MS290 does, but maybe look at some roll bar mounts and turn it like mine. I got lucky...but nothing sticks outside of the roll bar, and the dump bed works fine...but again...thats with MS290 and 16" bar. You might find a happy medium and gains ome space with 2 or 3 roll bar clamps as mounts. I can take some better pics when I get home tomorrow.

So I've been working on a similar chainsaw mount to snocat100's above. Essentially, took a couple of roll bar clamps as the base. Used some black 1/2" pfte (starboard) and 1/4" pfte. Cut it all out and mocked it up. I have a couple of cam bolts on order and will fasten it all together with SS hardware. Seems like it will work. Anyone have any thoughts before I bolt it all up? I am looking for a way to mount my chainsaw as well. One thing seems clear, we all run Stihl saws lol.

I have a 700-4 so not sure of there is an easy way to mount it inside the bed but still be able to flip up the jump seats.

Anyone else have any pics to share?

IMG 0132 IMG 0133 IMG 0134 IMG 0135 Almost finished. I have a couple cam lock bolts on the way to replace the thumb screws. Took it for about a 10 mile trail ride today. No issues. Worked great! No slapping around or bouncing. Think this one is going to work.

I really like that!!

Wasn't too bad to locate the stuff. Got most off Amazon.
12x36 sheet 1/2 Starboard about $16 (amazon)
12x36 sheet 1/4 Starboard about $15 (only needed a strip along the bolts about 2x16") (Amazon)
3- 1/4.20 2" SS bolts, nuts fender washers $5 (local hardware store)
2- 3/8.16 1 1/2 SS bolts, nuts, fender washers $5 (local hardware store)
2- #1 alluminum cam bolts 1/4.20 x 3" $15 (Amazon)
Oh, and 2 bar clamps about $20
Tools:
Table saw, jig saw, drill...
Too simple and beats the hell out of one of the high dollar ones!

And with the leftovers, I built a switch panel...

With the way I did mine, there is no interference with the jump seats. However, when washing the bed n the raised position, the rt rr passenger seat does hit the mount. Not a big deal because you can't raise the bed with the seat up anyway...
