I picked up a pair of plastic cup holders from the boat section at Academy for $7, they dropped right in the hole and fit tight. They step up in size to hold a 12oz can up to my 32oz yeti cup.

I replaced both with the Crossroads 3D cupholders. They fit any cup I have tried so far.. Yeti, RTIC, Orca.. no issues. Installation was a bit tedious, opening has to be expanded and the template was not exactly accurate.

Your correct, the install was a little pain but worth it. I like to be a able to take my big boy drink when I go:)

Man I had that template dead-on exact for my own install. But I was conservative because you can always shave away more but you can't put it back. Were you finding it was too small or big?

It was way too small.

I found it to be just about right, but I too was conservative cutting the hole out and had to shave it down a bit more.

Had to shave a lot with mine, after following the template. In hindsight I should have checked the template with the bottom of the cup holder to verify sizing.. but just am not that bright. 🤷🏼‍♀️
It worked out in the end and I am very happy with the result.

Just curious, so for the Crossroads 3D, you would remove the existing Honda insert, and then cut additional plastic out of the existing hole, via the provided template? What are you all using to cut, someone mentioned maybe a razor blade or something, but seems like that would be tough.

I want my coffee cup to fit.

Once you start the blade into the plastic, its easy to just shave off the plastic from the hole to get it to the size you need. Trust me, I was concerned at first and then did both cupholders in 15 minutes tops.

Just did mine this weekend -p500. Score the plastic first then it cuts pretty easy second pass. Make sure the cup holder seats below the little tabs. Took about 10-15 minutes.

Don't get crazy and use a vibratory cutter (no need to ask how I know this...)

Keep it simple and just use a razor, dremel or such and cut it a smidge larger than the template as if you go small, you have to pound the thing in, or recut. I blew the bottom out of one of mine pounding it down and in.

IT's worth passing along, someone told me that after the hole is cut, and it's tight, you can soften the dash plastic a bit with a heat gun. Then push and twist to snap the tabs in. Go easy of course.
