@JTW , I think all of the parts needed can be sourced locally.
a sporting goods store that deals in paintball equipment should have the valve and hose
Homedepot for the adapter
Northertool for the chuck

I'm so glad to have a couple of these. I actually haven't used the one I carry in the pioneer but I've used the it I carry in the truck twice.

Thanks Hondasxs

I just made this, and it is VERY simple to make. Thanks so much for this tip! I am going to make a few more of these for my friends.

The only other part needed is a bushing that can be sourced at any hardware store.B0663ba576d4e513c40f64cc0994bb0a

CAUTION please be careful! These Co2 bottles are VERY high pressure. You can blow up a tire in your face.

This is should be considered an extreme example. In this case you can see lots of wasted CO2 coming out. Normally the bead is closer thus not needing as much CO2.

In this example. I would guess you could do this twice whereas a different tire set may last 3-4 times.

Why this? I thought we used a regular chuck?
This allows you to remove the valve core without loosing the air when reinstalling the core. The core stays in this device, and then you push it back in and tighten it.

What bushing and where is it needed?
1/4 to 1/8 pipe thread. It goes between the quick connect on the hose and the locking chuck.8413819485c764c028f775a896b9b59c

Ahhhhh, well ain't that nifty! How necessary is taking the core out? Can you not get enough volume with it in, to set a bead?

Pretty much the same valve core remover we use in HVAC when working in an AC. Very handy tool.

Well I be dang! I didn't know anyone caught that on video. FYI, that was my tire being worked on here. I'm definitely putting one of these kits together. Saved my tail for sure!
