panels are cheap unless you want to buy the camo panels. I went with the Deluxe camo edition for that reason. Plus I liked the blacked out grille and wheels.

i just went through all this stuff as well, found a new 2018 1000 LE for 14995. Had some stuff i will never use probably, but i love the ride, and paddle shifters, and price!
