I'm going to get a Pioneer 700-4 in the next week or so. My question is the deluxe worth 1600$ more than the standard ?
Get the deluxe unless this is purely a boring work vehicle for you. If you plan on doing any sort of recreational riding with it, or if you're the type that enjoys modifications you will be money ahead with the deluxe.

Look at it another way, if you get the base model 700 sure you could add power steering, you could add fancy wheels and tires (those two alone are gonna be close to $1600), but you can't add paddle shifters! Working around the ranch I never need paddles. Every time I trail ride I wish I had them.

So I guess your intended use will make the decision for you.

Mines a plow vehicle-- but I still went with deluxe (the price is negligible)

Boy just about any color graphic would pop on that color, I like it! Walter at creativeutvgraphics.com, designed mine, I just came up with the concept, and he ran with it. I have got several compliments on his work

I own a 700-4 standard and a 700-2 deluxe, my recommendation is to buy the deluxe. IMHO the deluxe is worth the price difference. The two seater is for wife and I and the four seater is for when the grandchildren visit

Thanks, I'm not very computer savvy. The tires are just 25s. I had them on my Rincon and kept them when I traded it.

i got the std, i 90 percent trail ride with my daughter, the deluxe tires are not big enough for our trails and you need mud tires not bighorns, they are terrible in clay mud and snow. figured i would add tires (27-28inch mud lite or xtr $500) and eps later($600) from some aftermarket co, paint and wheels get crapped up anyway not much sense in caring around here with all the trees. i only rode some easy trails so far but i dont think im going to need the eps unless the tires add a ton if resistance, steers pretty easy
