P1000 Difference between 2016 and 2017+ Pioneer 1000 Winch Mount Kits

Will the 2016 kit work on my 2017 1000-5 Deluxe?

Is the only difference that the 2016 includes the ground wire that 2017+ models have run from the factory? Or are there more changes in wiring, harness, etc.

I can pick up a 2016 08l72-HL4-A04 Winch Mount kit for $150 where the 08L73-HL4-F01 seems to go for $250+

The older one needed a ground wire. Newer models the Pioneer already includes the ground wire factory.
