When I brought home the Gnomobile the driver's side door net was outside the side Bar and the passenger was inside the bar. Is there a preferred way to position the nets or do you ride with them off entirely and why? Thanks.

Not sure exactly how they're routed on the P5... but, after witnessing a really bad accident mine went back on my P1K5. Can make the difference in retaining all your limbs in a roll over, especially at speed.

We have all been slapped by small limbs. Driving while pushing limbs off of you is a pain. Keep em on. Inside is better but, they offer some protection either way.

History:
I took them off.
My wife was making a big deal of getting hit by limbs.
I put her netting back on and she thanked me.
Then I got slapped hard enough to raise a whelp on my cheek and above my eye.
I put the netting back on my side.

Never thought about the inside outside placement.
I suppose that the nets on the inside might be a little more tighter if you would roll it or put it on its side.
I do unclip the top clip and roll the net down and roll it down and zip tie it makes a good arm rest.
That said it's like this if I'm in the back or on trails that I made to cut wood and make the deer happy.
But when I'm making trails or dragging the trails (I use a DIY 4 ft drag)
Up goes the nets getting slap by a limb big or small hurts.
Also or trail that are looking spooky

I like them on and have never taken mine off. I recently had do deal with the inside/outside issue when I wrapped the side panels. They should go outside of the bar. I switched mine to the inside so I wouldn't have to cut another hole and found that when the door is open, and the nets are loose and hanging, they bunch up under or behind you when getting in and you have to pull them out. Not a big deal but never had that issue when strapped outside of the bar.

I have both of mine on the inside so they don't get caught on tree trunks in tight trails.
I like them tied back also , it give'sView attachment 43803 you a better view.

Look at that thing! You can't get rid of that Chooglin? Just plain BA!
I've acquired a lot of inspiration from you and that machine and really don't want to see you go man. :(

To be honest , I am reconsidering selling it.

I went for a short ride through the woods last night and I just don't know if I can let it go :(

You know you're probably past the threshold of getting a decent return on what you've put into it, I know I am...unless you part some things out, dibs on the front bumper! :D

Mine have always been on the inside and came that way from Honda. So you made me go look! ;) Viewing pics of 2017 models on Honda's website, they are on the inside. I don't see a real difference safety wise, though.
