I've never heard of using beads like this before and admit to being intrigued.



My issue with this (or beads, for that matter) would be that my OCD would make me count out each individual pellet to ensure that each tire got exactly 1,250. ;)


OCD? I call it CDO so the letters are in order.

...unless the scale was sensitive enough to distinguish between 1,249 beads and 1,250 beads, that's just not how OCD works. ;)

but what if the beads are inconsistent weights?

weighing them is best. ;)

If you have any moisture inside your tires and you are in a colder climate, don’t be surprised if your p1000 drives like an unbalanced washing machine for the first few miles.

Btw, most compressed shop air does have moisture in it, unless it has a really good dryer on it.

Similar thing can happen to slimed tires.

I used Dyna Beads in Motorcycle tires for years and approximately 90,000 miles with great results in keeping tires balanced.
