There's been a few threads about vibrations at certain speeds on the P1K.

I've been reading about Dyna Beads - they get good reviews.
Dyna Beads Refill Bag | UTV | Rocky Mountain ATV/MC

They claim to dynamically resolve balance issues - even temporary problems due to something like mud on the tire.

Since I'll be installing tires soon, I think I'll add them as a precaution. I resent the feel of an unbalanced tire.

Anyone had success with these?

Yes I have. It's what they use on the semi tires on my motorhome. I know they use it in big truck because the weights would be so big with a tire that size especially in a recap. I haven't heard about the use of beads in small application but it would make sense to me. Continous balancing for off road application seems ingenious. Even if you popped a lug off it would rebalance.

In theory you could use a "tire sealant" product to accomplish the same thing. Obviously the added benefit of sealant is that it will hopefully take care of any small punctures you get along the way.

Smaller applications work too I ran some in the tires on a f250 to keep wheel weights from messing up my aftermarket wheels and also put it in my Harley tires(when I had it).

I don't remember if they go by grams or ounces but your supposed to use a certain amount for whatever size tire you put it in.

Yea never had any issues with the bike but sometimes if I had the truck on the interstate running 75-80mph for long periods of time it would start shaking but I figured out all I had to do was slow down to like 50mph and it would be good for another 60mi stretch or so.

Sounds like a good enough speed for the pioneer. Pretty good idea actually. Need to figure out how much to put per tire and buy bigger batch on eBay probably be way cheaper then buying utv"specific " beads. They would be the same because I'm sure those go through valve stem as well

Smallest tire I can find on a chart is for a 27/8.5 R14 and it calls for 3oz. My experiences with it its a million times easier to just break one side of the tire down to put it in instead of putting it in the valve stem. Not that the pioneer has tire pressure sensors but if it where going on a vehicle that had them putting it through the valve stem won't work.

Here is chart for ATV/UTV.

According to that we are needing at least 8 ounces / tire. Thats about $80 worth of beads.
They also sell filtered valve cores for $1.50

I sent an email to them earlier to confirm what I need for 28" Evos. I haven't heard back yet.

Where did you get the 3oz number. Some of the suggested applications are for tires that already have weights on them.

I don't remeber putting but 4oz in my 285/75/16 truck tires because I bought two 8oz bags and split them. The Utv tires must take more to make up for the thick lugs.

I got an answer back from Dyna Beads Canada.

"I would go with 8oz of beads in each tire. You can use either the standard beads that you can install through or if it is a TUBELESS TIRE, the offroad beads that are bigger. But you have to break the tire bead to install the large beads."

But they are still the same beads used in the automotive industry correct? If so they would be drastically cheaper bought in that way.

Yes - same beads.
The offroad beads are cheaper on their site than the standard beads.

Well it's easy enough to bust the bead and go that way

I've never heard of using beads like this before and admit to being intrigued.

To get 8 oz per tire you would need 5000 of the 0.2 gram air soft pellets.
My issue with this (or beads, for that matter) would be that my OCD would make me count out each individual pellet to ensure that each tire got exactly 1,250. ;)
