Just recently bought a used 2017 1000-5 with 1000 miles, guy said he had to air the rear tires up every few days, no big deal the machine is in pretty good condition otherwise. I took the tires and wheels into the shop and the tire guy said the beads are chewed up from the wheel spinning inside. Has anyone had this problem ? They are 28x10x14 on factory wheels. Probably gonna buy 2 new ones and some bead locks, but curious if anyone had dealt with a similar issue before.

It can happen with any tire/wheel combo, typically if there was/is any type of slick material (that doesn't evaporate) on the bead or bead seat when the tire was mounted. As long as they clean the beat seat up, that should resolve it. They can always put some bead sealant on there for good measure.
