I am thinking about getting new tires and wheels for my completely stock HP1K-3 Deluxe with 14 inch rims. I have close to 2900 miles on the original Bighorns and the lugs are wore down about half or a little more. Summertime I run alot on county secondary blacktop and dirt roads and some dedicated atv/utv trails. Springtime and late fall I am in some mud and softer ground wooded trails. I plan to save the original tires and wheels for spring/fall use and put on the new tires/rims for Summertime road running. The original Bighorns are 27 inch. My question is will 28 inch terrabites fit without rubbing? Some say yes, some say maybe not? I saw a YouTube that said they could rub on tight hard turns. Before I buy I would like to be more sure that the 28 inch Terrabites would fit without rubbing.. thanks for any and all help with this...
Absolutely they fit and do not rub. 28x10x14. No spacer required, preference.

I have 30x10x14 High Lifter X Comps on my 2016 Pioneer 1000-3, with a 3” lift and they rub when I turn on flat ground, or go across a ditch at an angle. I love the tires, but wish I’d have bought 28s. Next time I will. NOT ALL TIRE SIZES ARE EQUAL.
You should look into some control arms to help reduce the rubbing.

I know this is an older post but what offset are these wheels? Im looking at the same setup and I’d prefer not to run spacers. Are you still happy with no spacer? Thanks
@Twade

Tusk tire and wheels
For me, I liked that the rear tire with 1" spacer lined up the front and rear track.

I had thoughts about handling and suspension - axle/bearing loading, with a spacer..
A non issue with a 1" spacer.

I just removed them for some other reason and never put them back on.

Mine tracks and handles well with out.
Good Luck!

Perfectly happy. Absolutely no air loss, there is a torq procedure on the bead ring, follow it a few times.. Tires are wearing well.

Just because.. I have a friend who manages a NW tire shop. He's got off road stuff. I asked out of curiosity if a Pioneer or UTV could go on their alignment table (toe is all that is adjustable with Pioneer oem a arms).

He said sure. He measured width and length and found the Pioneer to be similar as a Suzi Samarai. And viola!!

I had previously measured the toe and it was significantly toed out .75"

End result below, fifty bucks and now have quick set reference at any LS tire shop, covered by warranty. Took 20 minutes. Cool guys @ Les Schwab.

I also use toe plates from www.fullaccessutv.com to set toe.

Just because.. I have a friend who manages a NW tire chain shop. He's got off road stuff. I asked out of curiosity if mt Pioneer could go on their alignment machine(toe is all that is adjustablewith oem a arms). He said sure. Measured width and length and found the Pioneer to be same as a Suzi Samarai. And walla, as i'd measured, they were significantly toed out. See end result below, fifty bucks and now have quick set reference at any chain shop, covered by warranty. Took 20 minutes..
also have toe plates and know how to set toe and camber. Cool guy..
Where did you find adjustable camber plates for your Pioneer?
