To acquire switched power for my LED roof lights, I first purchaseda harness from the HondaSXS store.

I then bought 3 of these MicTuning Heavy duty harnesses.
Attached to one end of the relay is 12ga Black and red wires to attach to the battery pos and negative. Simple enough right???

Can I hook this 12 ga red hot wire to the 16 ga switched power from the HondaSXS store instead of the battery???

The 2nd leg of this harness is a pre-wired switch as shown.

The 3rd led of the harness goes to the 2 LEDS.

QUESTION:
Usually the relay is powered through a separate low voltage source (my HondaSXS harness wire from the cigarette lighter).

How can one set of 12ga red/black wires both power the relays to the LEDS and provide me switched power. PICS FOLLOW.????
Pic 1- MicTuning box
2- red/black 12ga main power hot/ground wires
3-pre-wired switch
4- LED connections
Thanks for help
I’m a real rookie electrician 😩😩

NO. the large gauge wires need to go to the battery or other high draw sources such as a buss bar.

The solution to a key-on switch.
Cut and remove the white wires at the switch. They are always hot so you need to shrink tube the end preferably with some good shrink tube that has glue inside for a good seal.

Next, take the red wire from the key-on harness and hook it everywhere the white wire hooked to. You will need to buy spade connectors and wire to make jumpers.

DONE.

Now your switch will work with key-on power instead of all the time.

OR..
buy a high amp relay like the Stinger and hook all the large gauge wires to it.
Use the key-on harness as a trigger for the stinger.

THANK YOU
What size Stinger would you buy???

I installed a second battery and bought an 80 Amp reset breaker for the Fuse Distribution Panel for the accessories.
BTW...Is that the correct breaker???

Just plan on Running winch, Dome Leds, LED bar, and maybe Bluetooth speaker.
(I assume the Rear LEDs/ harness from the SxS Store will draw off Main battery)

Thx

That's important info to leave out there. lol

80A stinger will be good. But there are reports of it freezing if you water ride.
Hook it to the fuse block and second battery.
Trigger it with the key-on harness or a SPDT switch for key-off use also.

Leave the white and blue wires as they are.
Remove all the fuses on those relays if you have enough wire and connect them to the fuse block instead and install correct fuses.

Now, Key-on will trigger the stinger, which powers the fuse block, which powers the relays, which powers the switches which triggers the relay, which turns on the lights.... Got it. hahah.

(I assume the Rear LEDs/ harness from the SxS Store will draw off Main battery)
Yes, by default it is key-on only.

THANKS AGAIN
I think I’ll just make the jumpers and run it off the key on harness... instead of Stinger.
ONE MORE QUESTION:
Can I run all the switches off the key-on harness by connecting the single wire to this block that jumps all positions??? See pic
Giving me easy switch-on power to 8 connections as long as the relays don’t exceed 10 amps if all ON?????
Thx

Don’t you sleep???
We both must be night owls🤪🤪
Must be the planes overhead at Charlotte Douglas.

To the question:
How else do you run multiple Led Bars with multiple relays with switched power......
Guess Ill rethink the STINGER😢😢????

BTW ... I love your forum.
I’ve learned so much and the knowledge has empowered me to attemp this massive wiring challenge. I’ve manipulated thousands of switches and relays in 40 years of flying... but have never wired a single one😎😎
Thanks for the incredible support!!!!!

Stinger is the simplest solution. Then you control it with key-on power. And everything after it is powered when key-on.

Without it. You can just jump the key-on wire from switch to switch.
