P700 Erickson wheel chock install

Put 4 sets of these on my trailer for my latest project. Took two days to get done. Had 4 quarter inch thick steel plates cut ($75 !) for backing plates on the rear chocks. Drilled, cleaned and painted the plates before installation. Kind of a pain to drill all those holes in my new trailer and assemble and torque all the grade 5 hardware, but in the end my Pioneer 700 isn't going anywhere. I like having that peace of mind.

Definitely not going anywhere. Good work!

I've run these (or a version of them ) for a bunch of years with several different machines without issue and I only run one on each corner. Yours is twice as secure

Looks good! Ive had the same set for the last 4 years and holding up well.
I must say, thats one clean trailer.

I just installed these today. Haven’t tied down to them yet. Did drive on to them though. Took a couple of times to get lined up right. I’m sure after a few times I’ll come into it.

It's something to get used to for sure. Enough power to get over the first hump but not so much you over shoot the second.

I must say, thats one clean trailer.

Hay, youll get use to it after a few times. Takes a little feness and its easy peasy no 4 wheel drive.
id suggest to set your parking brake on your truck too. Getting out of those things do jerk the trailer and truck a bit

I used them today. Really worked well. Quick for sure and got home with all still tight. Glad I decided to get them!

I did the very same to my trailer, used backing plates on everything at all 4 wheels. Super secure system that's fast and easy to use, love mine!
