P700 Exactly how much does a OEM hardtop add

First post so bear with me. I bought a 700-4 back in May. I’m just getting around to putting a top and windshield on. My question is can anyone tell me exactly how much an OEM hardtop will add to my height. Right now I have exactly 3” of clearance going in my garage door. Also looking at 27” tires. I’m guessing that will be around another inch of height?

I have the same machine as you, 2021 camo 700-4 deluxe with the factory hard roof.
Highest point on the roof, rear corners, appears to be 81” from the ground. Just took a measurement.

Thanks for measuring. That’s going to be really tight. May have to go with the Kolpin steel top. It looks like they fit a little tighter to the bars.

Your comparing an apple to an orange.
I’m not aware Koplin makes a full roof for the 700-4.
The highest point on the factory hard roof at 81” is the rear.

You can probably go with the short Honda hard roof over the bench seat and a soft roof over the rear seats/bed.

The factory Honda roof adds about 3.5 inches.
