My grandfather had a pond where he fed the catfish - I could fish in there all day and not catch a thing - he would pull up and they would hear his car or feel the vibration and come floating up to the top ready to eat.

These are the same way. They feel the ATV or the SxS and you see them cruising the surface...

My Grandfather referred to his chickadees as his "welfare birds."
He'd open the door and shake his can of seeds and several dozen would come flying in.

Nice story... We have a lot of birds here too but I don't have them trained.
